Craig Bentley is Managing Director of Bentley Management & Consulting, a firm offering project management, consulting, and Area Review support services to the FE sector. He has helped a number of colleges develop and implement strategies to improve income, reduce costs, and improve services. Bentley Management & Consulting also specialise in college mergers and collaborations.
Craig brings over 20 years industry experience to offer strategic thinking and a ‘hands on’ approach to commercial and operational challenges based on varied experience in both public and private sector organisations. He spent ten years with Caterpillar where he was trained in project leadership, lean, and 6 Sigma, and has held a number of senior commercial and operational roles with both UK, European, and Global organisations. Craig brings a unique cultural awareness and a passion for improvement in FE, using a collaborative approach, and an absolute focus on exceeding client expectations.
He holds a degree in Engineering Physics and an MBA (with distinction) from Warwick Business School. He is also Chairman of the Warwick Midlands Alumni Committee, a business mentor on Warwick University’s Mentoring Programme, and Trustee of Friends of Hereward College charity.
