Connecting FE, weekdays, 7-8pm
#SkillsWorld LIVE is a new live radio show, supported by FAB in association with FE News. For the education sector as we tackle COVID-19. #InItTogether
Presented by Tom Bewick, #SkillsWorld Live builds on the popular podcast series, #SkillsWorld on FE News, where Tom interviewed some of the leading figures shaping the post-compulsory education and skills systems, including apprenticeships.
The new live format of the show will be launched daily (from 20 April) during the coronavirus crisis, to help bring people together and connect the world of FE.
Supported by the Federation of Awarding Bodies, their Platinum Partners' programme, and in association with FE News, #SkillsWorld Live will carry:
— daily interviews with special guests, in the UK, and from around the globe
— phone-ins for people working in the FE and skills sector to share their Covid-19 stories
— analysis of the key issues affecting employers, learners, providers and awarding bodies during this challenging time
— spotlight stories on the unsung heroes helping our education system stay afloat during these unprecedented times
Tune in between 7—8pm on Weekdays, Monday to Friday.
Your World. #SkillsWorld. Available for broadcast, download and replay on the FE News website (www.fenews.co.uk) and other channels (e.g. Spotify, iTunes and Sound Cloud).
