West London College is formed from four main colleges, offering a wide range of courses from catering and automotive engineering to construction and health and social care in locations right across west London. Our four colleges are Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing Green, Southall Community and Park Royal.
We have around 12,500 students many of whom have gone on to be industry leaders in their fields, such as, Michelin starred chefs like Atul Kochaar and Mark Hix.
West London College (@westlondoncol) is celebrating a successful enrolment period in part driven by their “virtual” open day held in July and a new time slot approach that allows students some one-on-one time with lecturers.
@WestLondonCol is very proud of its many Health and Social care students who looked after patients throughout Lockdown. Memories of the Thursday #ClapforCarers may fade, but at the College, the contribution made by our students is still very much in the forefront of our minds.
@westlondoncol has partnered with the National Careers Service (London) (NCS) and the Mayor’s Construction Academy to launch the first ever virtual construction careers event for London. #ConstructLondon, is aimed at anyone with an interest in the exciting opportunities offered by construction in London - including students, school leavers, jobseekers, employers and careers advisers.
The Careers Event takes place on social media on Wednesday, 15 July 2020, from 11am – 3pm. To take part, simply log in to Twitter or Facebook and search for #ConstructLondon. You do not need to register to take part. Employers, colleges, local authorities, career advisers and anyone involved with construction are encouraged to get involved by posting their jobs, apprenticeship vacancies, training courses and other opportunities using #ConstructLondon
@WestLondonCol is launching its ‘Just Giving’ web page to raise money for local foodbanks this Friday (1 May 2020) in Ealing and Hammersmith & Fulham. The College has joined the national #FEFoodbankFriday campaign, which is seeing further education colleges around the country coming together to raise money for community food banks, as many foodbanks are experiencing a decline in donations at this challenging time and in great need of support.
